I recently conducted my EVS workshop at Oakridge International school (Newton Campus). Not only students, but teachers also enjoyed my workshop. And, of course, I too enjoyed it a lot. My topic was Soil Erosion, and when I finished my presentation, a 7th class student came up to me and screamed Ma'am please save us, I was surprised suddenly what happened. He then told, 'because of soil erosion water level is rising n we will sink so please mam save n he started laughing. It was indeed very funny!
The key takeaway from my workshop is that - There is a need to promote greater awareness about Environmental Science among school students. Unfortunately, our school course curriculum alone is not sufficient. And that is where workshops like the one I organize and intend to do it at other schools as well could prove to be very useful. These workshops I am organizing currently are free of cost. However, I am looking for corporates who can come forward to sponsor my workshops. Schools are also welcome to write to me for organizing these fun-learning EVS workshops.
Thank You,
